Tape Labeling
Peripherals is pleased to provide labels for all data cartridges and computer tape. Labels come in a variety of size, bar codes, and colors to match your existing media labels and bar codes. Most popular bare-coded colored labels are for 3590, 3570, DLT III, DLT IV, SDLT and LTO tape.Peripherals also has labels for 8mm, 4mm, qic cartridges, and round reel computer tape. Most labels come in packs of 50, 100 and larger volumes.
Tape Initialization
Peripherals can initialize your media, round reel computer tape, 3480, 3490, 3570, 3590, and DLT products. Peripherals will order your labels, initialize your tape and quickly provide the finished product to your installation. Peripherals can also supply new products or any number of our recertified tape products with a lifetime warranty. Or Peripherals can quickly erase your DLT’s for upgrading and place a new label on each DLT.
At Peripheral Manufacturing, we can recycle your old magnetic media and help to reduce the amount of plastic that is overrunning our landfills. There is real value in maintaining, trading, and upgrading your magnetic tape. As one company upgrades to a higher capacity, another company may be upgrading to your old tape. Your tape libraries may not be not that old, but most tape manufactured today will last much longer than older conventional computer tape. Peripheral Manufacturing can recycle, degauss, and destroy your old tape and if you are purchasing new tape, we may be able to offer you a discount against the trade-in of your present media. If erasing is a concern, Peripherals can and will provide a certificate of degauss and/or provide a confidentiality agreement.
